Ok, I need to start making the modding categories.

It's set up like this:

Parent Category:
    Child Category

So I might have something like:

Mods:
   Models/Textures
   Vehicles
   Weapons
   Total Conversions
   Singleplayer
   etc etc etc

So can you help me think of some parent cats and then their child cats?

I need some for mods, maps, etc etc..!

Thanks for any help!

Yeah, that's great!

Can anyone think of any more I might need, maybe something a little obscure?

Also, what would "scripts" be?

scripts are like game-modes 3rd party scripters/coders would make that work with SDK code of the game, sorta like making objectives into a pre-existing map mission on crysis. Adding to the game in a gameplay/missions sense. Not just maps/textures/models etc

Maybe I should add tutorials as a link in the main menu under files and mods.

Then let people add them.

Mini mods

 Roll Eyes

Whats a mini-mod tho? he already has the regular small mod sections like weapons, textures, vehicles.

I think those category are fine as you listed, however make sure to have a mainsite menu reflecting those as well? and in each section on the forum have a section rundown stickied post. I find you can never spell out enough what things are meant for  Cheesy

I would only suggest that the total number of categories be kept to a minimum. Too many cooks in the kitchen type thing.
